We swore blind that we were the holiday guardians put on earth to tell people when it was too early to be celebrating these manmade holidays, designed to separate you from coin and line the pockets of others with filthy lucre.
But, these Valentine’s day inspired felt fortune cookies, are too cute to ignore – they’re from Martha, and they are doable meaning that it is a DIY project for you to be getting it on till the break of craft dawn with. Oh + Yeah baby, you can see the full deets right here! We do love a bit of Martha!!!
We do love ourselves a bit of Funkytime action, and when it comes in the form of these gorgeous boutonnieres (these are meant to be for Easter, but then when have we followed rules… and we thought that these were wedding worthy). It is make-and-do high fives all around, and time to get your creative freak on.
Full project details can be found on the rather gorgeous bloggity-bloggity blog, and you will find loads to sink your teeth into as Sibylle’s projects are awesometown, you can see the gorgeous clothespin DIY we featured a little while back which is the handy work of this lovely lady. So, time for you to get craftastic. Deuces lovers’ xxx
Oh childhood memories you are melting away faster than a cornetto beneath the flame of a blow torch, but one thing that we wizened old crones over at Beyond Beyond used to love was Sunday Morning Channel 4 action. After watching Pob, we liked a bit of Land of the Giants! Bad special effects, B Movie qualities but oh what fun we had!
So, if you would fancy a bit of big objects little people action you may be inspired by this giant flower DIY tutorial that we spied on gorgeous bloggety blog monikered ‘The House that Lars Built’ (you can see the gorgeous wedding of crafty Brittany & Paul on 100 Layer Cake).
For those of you who are still nimble, flexible, and have the tinge of babies milk on your breath – here’s some land of the giants – just so you know what us elderly and infirm lot are talking about!

Our new favourite place in the whole wide world is papermash. Sweet baby Jesus/Our sainted aunt/ Good goobelly goo* we hella love this online corn(please delete as appropriate and leave the phrase that tickles your fancy). Apart from being a veritable paper wonderland where you can by awesome sauce stuff… you can actually download some of the awesome too in terms of DIY tricks and treats.
And nothing could be cuter than these! *weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee* (we need to stop dying we are making more comebacks than Lazarus up in this biyaaatch). *shakes head* We love this job, the only place in the world where biyaaatch is acceptable as a means of describing something linked to weddings, we have mouths that are tainted with something of the latrine, sorry! Anyway, we digress massively. These doily flower wraps can be made by downloading the tutorial and getting your make on. Thanks to both the wonderful papermash for this find, and of course Chelsea Fuss as she was the design beast behind this piece.
