Well, a little while back we had a contest to win some rather delectable and delightful Lily Vanilli (see that lovely lady in the image below and the book!) ‘Sweet Tooth’ Books, ‘So commeth the hour, Commeth the winners’ and the fabulous 5 who have an amazing books coming their way are!!!

The photographic glory goes to: Steve Ryan
So, far so good – we are keeping up with our vow. You see if you checked on the first person post yesterday you will see that it is a sensibly creative new beginning of sorts with lots of fab things coming your way.
There was first in a new series called The Place and we profiled MC Motors, and the incredible work of three photographers: David McNeil, Nick Tucker Photography, Joanna Millington
However , today we are about the face and the guest face at that! So this week is all about the nuddy nudism and we have the wardrobe, make up and whole enchilada with a little sour cream and guacamole on the side for you!
So here’s to shoes… technically these aren’t nude – they are a blushing rose! A bit of a bling thing plus a safe chunky heel, we get the feeling these will get you through any wedding dance-a-thon!

An absolutely epic wedding – we lost our teeny tiny creative minds over the desert tables but this wedding had some of the most stylish guests ever, is that lime green dress an Aqua by Aqua number – our spidey senses tell us that it might be! See the incredible wedding of Amanda and Tim over on 100 Layer Cake.

Our dress crush of the moment is the super tasty Three Floor a new label is future forward and edgy fashion magic. Perfect the guest who not only wants to cut a dash and stand out. Our personal favourite is the Motion Midi Dress, which is crepe sensational.

We love a nice simple nude make up look – way to trick people that you have runway flawless skin. So, we’ve got how to do a nude lip for medium to dark skin from Beauty by JJ
And for Caucasian skin check out this from Beauty Crush

Upside down you turn me – we like hair up but this is a topsy-turvy one with an upside down French braid bun from your tress tutors for the day; Luxy Hair

So, the bride may be wearing some Tiffany box ring magic, but you can have your own bit of Tiffany with this Tiffany nail tutorial courtesy of Elle & Dish
As I mentioned, the theme has been dropped like a bad boyfriend… there are a myriad of places where you can find incredible inspiration boards on wedding themes and trends. Just not on this little corner of cyberspace. The main reason why is that I have a enormous inspiration board in a land called Pinterest so you can find everything that you want/need/or desire there!
So this is a new feature called the place, the venue is one of the biggest and most expensive things to decide for the day. The only problem was showcasing venues in a way that was interesting – and that has always been hella tough. However, I think I’ve found a way forward and this is a feature called The Place entitled after my favourite song in the world right now by inc. You can bump this why you enjoy some venue candy.

So, a few weeks on since Jesus rose again and it looks like the blog is rising again proper! – I am able to give my all to what I do in the way that I always wanted to. (Oh that rhymed!)
What does that mean other than the sacrilegious analogy that I aligned to the Lord Jesus?
The branding has changed – the logo has changed, the headers have changed, the media pack has changed, and it is all change!
Because finale to 2012, mainly due to the fact I was foolish enough to begin doing a magazine; it meant I was clocking some ridiculously stupid hours – it meant that I wasn’t able to blog with my usual vim and vigour.
However, it also gave me a lot of time to do a creative spring clean and think about my overall direction, and what I want to be when I grow up.
So, what does that mean:
- The post schedule will now officially be tighter than ____________________________ (insert your own offensive end to this phrase). This whole shebang will be slicker, so other than Bank Holidays, and mandatory Christmas/Sagmeister time off. There will be no more shenanigans with inset days, and backend coding days. That is all O-V-A-H. As I made the grand decision a while back to stop blogging on the weekends – any admin bits will be done then.
- There will be new blog content – I have been working on brand new post ideas and some things have been killed off. The Theme is dead lovers, so sorry! I have better stuff coming.
- The overall look and feel is going to be a billion times better – graphic designers are like builders in the sense that we give our all to everybody’s projects but our own. I have to admit that there are some things that were looking hella dreck, and my beautiful baby has had digital dark circles and a few zits. However, going forward my lovely will be a pixel perfect glamour puss. I got to keep my standards high – after all I got a design rep to protect.
Basically, like LL Cool J once said – ‘I’m going to love you better’
The Show

In other content changes if you have a mosey onto The Show you will see that there are biographies for nearly all of the designers and design houses. I was so excited to the start the show sub channel that is was all about quick, filthy and dirty nastiness. With some there is still a wee bit of digital spit and polish remaining to do on that little corner, however I hope that the additional information helps to give the incredible designers the showcase that they truly deserve.
On top of that where possible in the example of showcase – the show will also share interviews and behind the scenes with talented wedding designers.
There will also be a boutique directory not only will you be able to look at gorgeous dresses, you will be able to track down great places to get them too!
About the Design Stuff
Can’t stop won’t stop on that front however all designs offered by Beyond Beyond will now be ready made stationery ranges only.
All Bespoke design projects now go through Haboglabo (my graphic design studio)… why comes? Because all though all design is graphic design – bespoke projects require a far longer design studio, design and development process – Which means the costs are vastly different.
Also, Hello Lover is open again…
you’ll find pretty prints and posters therein and as for the lovely The Beyond Beyond Paper Shop will be reopening in Summer 2012 – However if you click the Paper Shop link it will take you to a lovely landing page where you can leave your details. When the shop opens you’ll get a sweet discount to celebrate it all being wide open again.
Which brings me to another thing…
Giving Back Creatively
One of the things about time constraints that everyone can attest to is not being able to deliver all the things that you.
I will be giving away MORE free download content – and the reason why? You are polite enough to give me your time, read my foolishness and all the things I’ve wanted to achieve have been as a result of your support of the blog so there is a lovely little something-something coming for you a hell of a lot more often lovelie! So, keep them peeled for freeness!
In Conclusion
All changes to Beyond Beyond are merely going to be little fixes, no grand reveals – basically good plastic surgery. Less Heidi Montag and more Kelly Rowland (Google that analogy and it will make all kinds of sense). I want every visit to Beyond Beyond to be like visiting a shop and suddenly finding something new and pretty – but if anything tune into the Facebook page, and the next time that Beyond Beyond has a brow lift, botox, or dermabrasion… you’ll find out there.
