We are big on colour, there is nothing better than getting to play with every colour in the rainbow, and on a day this sunny in London; a shoot that celebrates the richness and vibrancy of the spectrum had to be the one to showcase. We love to the power of infinity the luscious, colour soaked, photographic candy that has come to us from the talented
Rima of Occasion Photography.
The vibrancy leaps out of every single image and we really love the eye popping colours and Rima has captured. This is going to be a two parter as we were so blown away by the images that Rima had on her blog we couldn’t stop at one post. We can’t rave about these enough there are about a million Adobe Kuler schemes that you could base on the colours in this set. So ready yourselves for some more photographic treats today.
These particular images are part one of a three part Asian wedding spectacular – this part of the ceremony is Mehndi night for the gorgeous bride Sudaf. This is the ceremony on the occurs on the eve of the wedding; all the females gather together and apply Mehndi on the hands and feet of the bride. We can’t think of anything more lovely than having your hands and feet lovingly and artfully decorated while surrounded by the people who love you best. So just enjoy and prepare for your jaw to be dropped! See Some More
So, skiving on the internet, peruse The Bowie Bride, laugh at veiled knickers on Bowie Bride, scroll down and see invitations from Bon Moment, throw up in our mouths a little bit. We went to darkened room, sat down and rocked backwards and forwards while switching a lamp on and off. Everytime we think yay hooray – let’s do some sweet design work; somone comes along and makes you rethink your entire career path.
We considered going back to basics, being a happy shopgirl in either Aldi/Tesco/Netto/Sainsburys or maybe Waitrose, ’cause we really like them and they make those really nice Frozen Croissants, Do we digress, hell yeah, in full effect.
So, you look at these weapons of paper beauty while we cry and wonder where it all went so right for Bon Moment… whole range is sicker than swine flu and bird flu making sweet bacterial love in a Petri dish.
Woo – pah! A very gorgeous fascinator from London based Tied and Feathered, check out their website and their Etsy shop now! Fancy seeing them in person they can be found at Greenwich Market Friday and Saturday.
Britt Spring how do we love thine photography? Let us count the shutter candy ways.
We love Britt’s work around here; she is a lens-loving-sister-in-arms-photographic-perfectionist. And you know we can’t help but constantly big her up – because quite frankly she’s amazing!
We have been hankering for these images for quite a while and the lovely Britt true to form delivered on the eye candy goodness front when it came to these gawwwwwgeous shots of Deanna and Riley. These shots are outdoor slices of delight and we love the slight gothic edge in terms of colour filtering that Britt has gone for here; and the location is super ace too! So here’s to Britt… and now for shutter candy! See Some More
