Like a kiss on the collarbone, these images are possibly amongst the sweetest we have ever, ever known* (borrowed from Ms.Hill). When we saw the slowest, deepest, smile crept across our faces, not just because we will never stop being blown away by Jaquilyn Shumates gorgeous aesthetic, but also because there is this gentle fizz of love that is pervasive, oozing out of every.single.perfect.pixel.
These gorgeous images are of Nick who is Jaquilyn’s brother, and his future wife Erica. The images were taken in Utah, and as gorgeous as these are there is also the reminder of time marching relentlessly onward as Jaquilyn can still recall “riding our bikes to the dollar store to get some junk food with the money we made selling lemonade on the corner of 25th and Alameda” and then, one day you are taking pictures of a man and a woman, who are getting married. In any case just enjoy these truly gorgeous images, and congrats as Erica isn’t the only addition to the family. A Beyond Beyond Rework of the Lisa Stansfield Classic All Around the World.
Despite being UK based we do seem to travel the world a lot when it comes to photographs, so it is about time that we had a bit of home grown loveliness from the marvellously talented Kirsten Mavric. It has been pretty much pixel love from the moment that we saw her work. And after getting our usual shutter butterflies we just knew that we had to share these gorgeous images of Carl and Tabby (and excuse the De ja Vu experience if you saw them on OMG I’m Getting Married) but these are so good that they deserve to be blogged twice!
