‘Love is timeless’ and ‘Love is ageless’ are two eternal truths that in an age obsessed, botox tainted, ‘pillow face’ world that we need to remember. The other important one is that love is something that everyone is entitled to, so in a industry that is normally focused on bright young things – let these images embrace you eyes and remind you that people other than the 25-34 age bracket get married.

The wedding was completely Cape Code inspired! The bride, Toni, is from the Cape and Tom asked Toni to marry him while the couple was there on holiday. Every detail of this wedding was very thought through and important to them. From the cranberries to the sea glass to the ocean blue color palettes, the theme was a perfect way to celebrate this couples love story! And to tie everything together, we also photographed their wedding portraits at a gorgeous little sailboat harbor!
The couple rang in the New Year-Eastern time for Cape Cod of course-and had an amazing group of friends and family there to dance and celebrate the both the wedding and the start of 2012!
The flowers were arranged by Toni’s daughter, Annie, with mixtures of peonies, white hydrangeas, white roses and sprigs of cranberry flowers! See Some More
Sometimes the unseen is more beautiful than the seen. Leaving space for your imagination to fall and your mind to fill in the gaps, there are no names, no stories this is love anonymous captured by our favourite photographer Britt Spring.
This is one of those occasions where the missing information, shreds and fragments of a life are as lovely as the intimacy of details. So, there is no tale to be told other than the one that you craft in your imagination. But, the rough story arc is that boy loves girl, girl loves boy and then they got married. Ooooh we are pleased as punched to have Assassynation on these here pages. We have been drooling over the amazing photography skills over on RocknRollBride *dribbles a bit*, Boho Weddings and events, *dribbles a bit more*, and Love my Dress *the dribble floodgates open*.
So, now we these babies up on the blog we are beyond excited to be able to be part of the ‘We’ve had Assassynation’ (not like that you dirty minded ones – photographically only!… ahem). And today we transport you to the gorgeous wedding world of Laura and Nick, throw in the fact it is in Marylebone and we get to go Abbey Road (yes that Abbey Road) and we lovers, are in nuptial heaven!
Small and perfectly formed, this wedding is all kinds of luscious – we love Laura’s dress, and it is super sweet stitching confection from Fur Coat and No Knickers (and although obviously Laura gives great face, you might spy a certain Kaz Fernando in the background doing a spot of makeup artistry).
Despite our love of heels, we have to declare Laura the Footwear Don, as she has flats, and boy does she ever wear it well! And the venue will literally bowl you over (New Year and no less worse with the puns, we so need to work for The Sun on their taglines, we can hack phones without getting caught Mr Murdoch! We promise) we digressed as ever… bowled over , because, the venue is the fabulous All Star Lanes, Holborn.
