We love a good after the big day shoot we do, as we are so nosey and for us the before is as intriguing as the after. We love the buffed wedding day perfection of the bride, the sartorial elegance of the groom all dapper and debonair, however there is something nice seeing the couple ‘au naturel’ (we are loving French today aren’t we). Just being themselves, just being silly, and carefree in a way that the ceremony of the day doesn’t always allow. These fun and lovely shots were taken by Italy based destination photographer Julian Kanz.
So, here we are indulging vicariously in the fun and frolics (and wishing we were near a beach) that Alessandra and Riccardo got up to post big day, there might not be a Wang or Packham in sight, but it’s nice for something to be swoon worthy just because it’s all about love..Can we get a collective Awwwwww-men! Let shutter candy begin! See Some More
So, after the lead up here is some more of the beautiful . We do hope that you understand why we had such a tough editing gig; it was due to the fact that there was more shutter candy glory than we could shake a stick at. So delight your eyes and enjoy more of the good stuff from Myra Fotografie! Please check out the first part… we are begging and pleading with you because when you do see it… you’ll be grateful that we nagged you.
Let the pretty stuff commence with more of the gorgeous and quirky wedding of Tamara and Patrick (we can’t get enough of this couple!). See Some More
The toughest part of blogging is the attempt to be ruthless in the editing process. It is always a difficult decision including one image over another; except we are blessed in this sense. We are lucky in the fact that there is no art director telling us that we only have half a page left and that there needs to be space for copy. We get to experience the privilege of over indulgence and opting to feature 15 similar shots because we happen to like the slight variation of elements in each one.
It is shoots such as this beautiful wedding from Myra Fotographie, that fill us with gratitude for such editorial freedom – as this was tough as every image from our humble perspective was gorgeous. There is an indie cinematic film feel to this… it is almost as though we have we are flicking through stills from an obscure yet beautiful documentary that is being screened at Cannes.
The beauty of photographic record means that we are viewing a beautiful documentary, and it is that of the Tamara and Patrick’s beautiful day. We say this constantly that in less experienced hands – expansive and dramatic backdrops can dominate to the images to the detriment of the couple; but in this instance the perfect photographic balance has been struck. And it’s simple beauty makes us smile. And this is going to be another two part fest, for once again – no shutter candy can be left behind! See Some More
