The Couple: Capucine & Channa
We were multiplexing: One Day
We were listening to: All Fired Up // The Saturdays
Yesterday’s seems far away you can time travel to Thursday and see part one of Thuy and Stuart’s wedding. We are now moving from Vietnam to the U.K with a whole load of the gorgeous in terms of a traditional ceremony with an edge.
We love Thuy’s bridal style and seeing her family singing their hearts out in the church is a site for the soul to behold.

Emma Lucy Photography said of the ceremony: We then stopped off at Hatfield forest for couple photos before heading to a Chinese restaurant at Docklands that was decorated with pom poms and lanterns. After a menu of all sorts of seafood and meat dishes (including crabs claw, lobster, sharks fin soup) there was a toasting of the tables where Thuy & Stuart went to each table to receive words of advice from a member of each table which they would then toast with a brandy. Stuart was definitely a bit squiffy when I left after 16 tables of merriment!
See Some More Post a comment (3)We whet your pixel appetite yesterday with a beautiful prologue of Thuy and Stuarts wedding by Emma Lucy Photography, and now we return for part one of this incredible wedding. This fusion wedding melds Vietnamese with English and Catholic tradition. Not only is beautiful to look at – but we always love a wedding which incorporates two personal worlds into one – the two creating a new culture of their own that is past, present, and future.

Emma Lucy Photography shared:
Thuy’s parents are Vietnamese and Stuart is English. Thuy wanted her day to be unique to them but also keeping in line with her parent’s traditions.
We started off with a tea ceremony early in the morning where there was traditional exchange of gifts and giving of wine!
There was then a beautiful catholic ceremony adapted to include Thuy’s families customs. Her family also acted as the choir and I couldn’t stop crying as they were so breathtakingly beautiful!
Today we are in Vietnam, and tomorrow we will be in England. Time for shutter candy to commence.

The photographic glory goes to: Emma Lucy Photography
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – we just can’t get enough of image makers. Photography stills are like silent movies telling you entire stories, secrets, dream and wishes – and more than that when it comes to weddings; the beauty of togetherness, love, support and family. There is something so beautiful about seeing generations, and different strands of an individual life weaving together for that one amazing day.

These pictures from Emma Lucy Photography, are a master class in story telling – this is a little opener of the Vietnamese wedding of Thuy & Stuart, we will have the rest of these stunning images and a full bodied write up for you tomorrow. However, in the here and now – these images would like to tell you their story. Let shutter candy begin!
