We are having a torrid emotional affair with a pair of shoes, like all modern obsessions of the digital age, it began on pinterest and it will end in torment and despair. We scoured the internet like garden variety stalkers looking for a word, a whisper or a glimmer as to where we could buy these shoes (at 90% off – hey we believe in love, but only of the cheap and discount variety) and slowly – with each keystroke, each swollen finger ligment – carpal claws, pinky sinews crying out in pain and for a bit of deep heat we found no further evidence of our babies.
