Normally, we’d say let them eat cake – but on a day like today. It is about chocolate, the comfort food of Monday Moaning champions and the goodies goodness comes courtesy of the awesome Raaka chocolate.
Now, although the fact this delicious bribe came straight out of Brooklyn, we need to make it clear that we don’t endorse something unless it is delicious (you can’t pay for a recommendation) , we have to say that this stuff is absolutely gorgeous and it is the rolls Royce of Chocolate.
Now, we’re sure that you are thinking why chocolate on a wedding blog, well other than the fact that Raaka is virgin chocolate and it is Vegan too! They have a fantastic array of flavours our personal faves were Bourbon and Chilli! Oh, we completely lost the plot there didn’t we… the reason why we love the chocolate so is that you can have custom created labels for your big day.
These came straight out of Brooklyn to the UK, so they are an international company don’t get put off by the fact it is coming from NY, lovers. So, lick those lips and enjoy a rather, tasty, chocolate alternative to cake in the form of chocolate. (We’ve got packaging, love!)

Our obsession of the moment are pleated Maxi skirts! We are going through a total love thing with them at the moment. They are perfect staple pieces for the wedding season! You get to be two things we love in these gorgeous garms: girly and swishy! (We defy you not to spin around in a circle to get the skirt to kick out).
The great thing about having an outfit that is separates based is that you get to mix things up… so our get your visual knife and forks at the ready, the fashion nomnoms are

And Maxi has a friend we love, hello Cami, we’ve picked one to rule them all as we didn’t want to go crazy and to set it all off. Get yourself a blazer, a little bit of a masculine edge to balance out the feminine flounce is the right way to go wethinks. The Cami is a knitted joint from Vanessa Bruno, and the Blazer is a bit of ASOS manna from fashion heaven, we have inappropriate feelings about this jacket from Preen *bites fist in fashion beauty angst moment*. You could always go down a budget route, and pimp a regular blazer with a contrast belt, but we love the contrast and we’re only window shopping after all!
Floaty and light fashion deserves floaty and light make up, but super fierce lips. We are feeling the pink!
and black skin kapow! (we like green eyes and pink lips! Hot!)
We are such lazy minxes this week, rather than doing anything we think that you should stick stuff on. We have to say that we are rather enamoured with these jubilee nail stickers; they are about 8 kinds of awesome non? The great thing is that these can be used up to 8 times, yes – the bride might be a princess, but your fingers are royalty. Jubilee nails by Nazila Love Glamour

Lana Del Rey + Jessica Rabbit = We want waves and waves darlings, waves and waves! And to be nice to your locks these are no heat tutorials!
And yeah time for that all important gift… our favourite design hangout at the moment is LLustre. Oh my we love it! The great thing about the site is that they do limited edition auctions for gorgeousness. Register and buy everything seriously you could buy a biscuit tin and it would be all kinds of amazing… sign up! So there you go lovely guest who hooked you up? Beyond Beyond of course *brushes fashionista shoulders and glides into the rain drenched metaphorical sunset – British weather hasn’t given us a sun to set*
We were there in spirit; although the completely wrecked body and mind were languishing in bed, doing a super sulk as we wanted to get our cake and chocolate on that the dessert haven that is Choccywoccydoodah; for their bloggers and writers party. However, patting our little concave bellies (that are totally devoid of cake might we add) we’ve been forced to eat vicariously through photographs – all we can say is ooh wee at all the cake magic and the images from Tino and Pip *cries a bit*.
Choccywoccydoodah have come from the lovely coast of Brighton to the nitty gritty of the Big Bad City to bless both stomachs and eyes with their amazing cake creations. The new store has a magical Hansel and Gretel quality to it, with the plus side being that there is no evil witch trying to merk you. Although, as Miranda in Sex and the City said, the ‘evil witch’ was a bit misunderstood after all if you had made a dream house out of deliciousness, wouldn’t you want to kill the kids who ate it…just a little bit? Just us? Well, that certifies our evil credentials to the max, then.
If you want do more than live vicariously through tastebud entrancing images, then you might want to shake it down to Carnaby Street and pick up some rather tasty morsels. *Chocolate and cake mega drool*
The photographic glory goes to: Tino and Pip
