Welcome to hump day you lovely fashionistas, you gorgeous lot – it is outfit time and do you know who is killing if for the second time in best of the guest we have to doff our caps to H&M who are thrilling us with their new range – The Glamorous Conscious Collection.
Which very nearly rendered us unconscious and required us to have a big old dose of smelling salts; we Love all of these – and if Hollywood loves it, then of course it is guest worthy! So far Michelle Williams and Viola Davis have been rocking these lovelies – So get ready for April 12th when these lovelies will be released in 100 stores worldwide only!
Some of these are wed-worthy – interesting maybe the dress for the big day might be from H&M, there will only be 1000 pieces of each dress – they are limited editions once gone, they will never return again!
It had to be all about the ruffles, seriously – there will be a wedding shoot this year that has a bride wearing this dress and we for one can’t wait to view it!

Well, since we are going texture crazy – we love these crazy bubblicious nails courtesy of Ciate. These beauties are all about the super luxe and surely a dress this luxurious and textured is deserving of nails that are equally textured. Love the decandance of these! Don’t eat caviar lovers – it is all about the nail caviar!
These beauties haven’t been released yet – but they will be priced at £18 and these lovelies come in White, Black, and multicoloured goodness!

It should be about making waves old school fingerwaves and Lana Del Rey inspired waves
Something cutiful and beautiful for the newlyweds to lay their lovely heads on – yup we think that this works!!! The just married Pillow Case Set fromTwisted Twee via Not on the High Street
We kind of liked the fact that Choccywoccydoodah were a schlep to the shores of Brighton as the apart from being visually dangerous, our addiction to the cakey gorgeousness would have meant a physical decline and slide into being future candidates for Supersize vs. Superskinny (trust ,we are absolute dessert fiends *massive drool*).
So when we heard that Choccywoccydoodah had a shop in Carnaby Street complete with a chocolate room that can be hired out for events and parties, we almost passed out – well we did actually passout! We love their cakes… not just a feast for the stomach, but a feast for the eyes!
If you are in London Town you can visit the new store which is in 30-32 Fouberts Place
Carnaby, W1F 7P in the Eponymous Carnaby Street.
Normally, the words ‘Paper’ and ‘Statement’ fill us with dread as if we were playing word association game we would think of a bank statement rather than exceptional paper goodies. Once again a journey to our favourite online place in the world Etsy and its front paged was the gateway to some kind of wonderful!
So ta-dah! Paper Statement you can read the full interview on the incredible Dorisse right here. We are loving the statement cylinders and we think that they would be the perfect centrepiece for a literary themed wedding. So, we hope that this little something-something has taken the fear away!
Well, we hope that this post enlightens you to the fact that Madame Adelle of Peonies and Pearls is a styling gangstress, yup she happens to be a blogger of rather great note. But, today she has her other hat on and she is the veritable genius behind this rather splendid shoot. So, what you want lovers… di d you say that you were shutter candy deprived. Thought as much well here you to dear hearts feast on this… well you can only tune into after you’ve read the words of today’s shutter candy pimp, Adelle. Take it away, Lover!
I’m sooo excited to share with you a fabulous bridal shoot I worked on last week. I fancied getting creative so organised a shoot in South Wales with my sister acting as my gorgeous model. I organised/styled the shoot, did hair and makeup plus acted as photographer…nothing like doing it all yourself! ha ha. It was very much a budget/DIY project and all props were sourced quickly and off the high street – the flowers were from Tesco! I’ve been wanting to do a shoot in a dilapidated building for a while, I love the contrast with the cutesy dress and streamers. Inspired by the tutu style wedding dress, I went for a ballerina/doll look with the makeup and hair. The outfit was finished off with gold glittery heels (a must) and a vintage diamante necklace I had given to me as a child by my nan. My sister played the perfect model (can you believe she’s never done anything like this before!) and put up with me bossing her around telling her where to position her arms, head, legs……
I love seeing all my ideas come together so relished this little project and I’m so pleased with the finished results especially given I’m an amateur photographer. I hope you like the shoot, I’d love to know which images are your favourite, drop me a comment below!
If you’re interested in getting Peonies & Pearls involved in a shoot, please drop me a line atadelle@peoniesandpearls.co.uk. I love getting involved in creative projects, so would love to hear your ideas. You can check out other shoots I’ve been involved in HERE. xo
