As De La Soul once rapped three is the magic number, and we think we mentioned the fact that there was a third party to be introduced, so you get to see the two other important men in Charlotte’s wedding day. The groom, André and their son Zephan. So for this part of proceedings we are going to hand you over to Charlotte:
The style for their wedding day was Vintage Glamour – Charlotte said “We definitely didn’t start out having a theme in mind as that’s not really our style but somehow everything we chose seemed to fit and ended up feeling very vintage and glamorous”
“My dress was from Pronovias and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, it was the only one I tried on! I loved the beaded detail all over the dress, and the delicate cap sleeves, it looked like something from the 1920’s. I always knew I wanted a headdress, and I found the perfect vintage style one from designer Jo Barnes, my headdress was called Zelda and it made my whole outfit, I completely adored it. I wore my hair down in a vintage wave, and topped off the look with a deep red lipstick and Bordeaux red nail varnish. My bouquet was all blush peonies tied with lace. For my jewellery I wore my mum’s vintage diamond drop earrings and two pearl cuff bracelets on each arm. “
Our first dance was to Jackie Wilson – Someone to Love. This song is special to both of us and André chose it because he loved the lyrics, it is a real old classic romantic love song.
