So, it is day two of a brand new week and part two of a gorgeous, and how we LOVE this wedding.  This time we are going to hand over to the talented photography Ashley Hamilton Photography, who’s going to share more about shooting for the stunning day of Emily & John:

Emily and John are the perfect combination of being incredibly creative, and very organized. They had planned everything out perfectly, and even got the weather to cooperate.

One of my favorite parts of the day was the Ceilidh band that lead everyone in the barn dancing. It was incredibly lively and got everyone out on the dance floor. John is the artist in this marriage and he wrote a lovely (and very funny) poem for Emily that he recited after the toasts. The energy of their day was so magnificent. They truly planned it out perfectly.

This wedding was shot with both digital and film using a 35mm film camera and a Holga medium format in addition to my two digital cameras. I’m loving the feel that film brings to a romantically rustic wedding like this one.
