Wowsers! We don’t know where to begin with this bright, colourful, skull and crossbones filled wedding epic. But, we guess that the beginning is always a good start. On one of our little digital skiving escapades we came across this gem, actually scratch that, we came across this Hope Diamond of a wedding. These fantastic images taken by Rebecca of Life in Images Photography (main site is he-re) captured every mind blowing detail of this day, in pixel perfect perfection. We instantly wished we could travel back in time befriend Kristy and Simon and nab an invite; because this wedding is straight fire.
We have to get Kristy’s lovely and funny words on the big day, the lovely Simon and how they met in right now before we dissolve into anymore slobbering pronouns and adjectives.
One thing you need to know before I begin is that we are both complete nerds, albeit stylish ones, but nerds at heart. When I first saw Simon he was lost and wearing a mouldy looking dress/robe in the Arathi Highlands. I of course immediately came to his rescue looking fabulous in my plated leather armour and braids with my Gorilla tagging along behind me.
No these are not the musing of a complete nutter but of a girl who fell in love with the World of Warcraft and a certain lost and mouldy looking warlock. I can’t even tell you how we saw each other through the game but we did and recognised there was something special. Before I knew it I had moved from NSW and QLD in the pursuit of love and I’ve never looked back. He saw something special in me as after a year of being together he proposed. I will say it was a very unromantic moment as I was very hung-over and looked like something that had been caught in a drain but they say love gives you rose coloured glasses. I’m so very, very lucky to have a beautiful person like Simon in my life.
We will give you the skinny on the dress, vendors, and a few more words from Kirsty in part two of this wedding epic so make sure that you stay tuned!

Wowsa! I die for those zebra rainbow pumps! My gosh, where does one find heels like that? This is just so rock n’ roll and unlike any wedding I’ve ever seen. A colorful treat for the eyes!
It’s all so gorgeous! In fact all too gorgeous… get the biggest smile each time I look at these pictures.
