Normally, this would be where we would break down into a typical (of us) but humorous rant that would include some obscure pop culture references, a little hyperbole about alcohol consumption and our mental well being; with the finale being an asterisked action/stage direction.
But, there are some things that are so beautifully designed and lovingly executed that you simply celebrate some artistry and save the snarky for some other sunny day. These illustrations for a wedding book are exquisite – soaked with emotion, charisma and personality. These aren’t designs to be envied; they are illustrations by Riccardo Guasco; are to be celebrated!
You think we’re losing our touch, that we don’t what have it takes to roast an invitation design like a spatch cock chicken on BBQ Sunday? We really don’t give a damn – we just want to luxuriate in something beautiful.

You might have had the chance to watch the way that they move over on the show – but we do have a little more to tell about the gorgeous 2014 collection. The Spanish bridal fashion house Jesus Peiro has announced the launch of its 2014 Seams Collection is Inspired by the tradition and history of the dressmaking atelier, the collection celebrates 25 years of cutting-edge haute couture under the Jesus Peiro brand.
The collection is focused on the current trend toward simplicity and minimalism, the Seams Collection is a fusion of design between the fabric and the line. With an emphasis on light and airy fabrics such as tulle, organza and gauze, the collection is the perfect balance of slender, willowy silhouettes and big volumes.
Accessories and details are the artisan elements that infuse the gowns with touches of dressmaking; white detailing imitates the reels of thread or the seamstress’ chalk markings while the black ribbons represent the structure of the mannequins, the pins and trimmings.
