New day, New afternoon = new couple pixels. Let us slap our palms together and give a Beyond Beyond welcome to….
Nicole & Mark who are gracing us with their presence in super fine New England style. The photographic stylings of Karla Korn Photography are responsible for the beautiful internet viewings, Karla shared:
This romantic couple took these photos by storm. They were so lively and candid with each other, it was a photographers dream. Many different locations are featured in this album. And they dressed perfectly for the occasion.See Some More Post a comment (0)
London = Home
It is also home to a million chicken shops, actually it is scary how many chicken shops there are; we think it may be some soylent green shenanigans. Given the horse meat saga… it might be pigeons? Come on, where did the pigeons really go after they were banished from Trafalgar Square? Makes you think doesn’t it?
However, London is home to some pretty beautiful locations – now throw in some beautiful soon-to-be-married people and of course we are going to get supper happy. So, this shoot is at the gorgeous Barbican (it’s the ultimate hide and seek location and had Saddam and Osama been there we truly doubt that either of the pair would have been caught);
But, one pair who did get caught – with no trial or execution – are the lovely and in love Bea and Duncan, who have been shot (no pun we swear that is not a run on from that Osama comment) by Maureen Du Preez, in this fantastic brutalist architecture. Your fun nerd fact of the day is that it was built post war 1960’s and 70’s.
These images were captured before the St Jude storms, however if this couple can make brutalist architecture and rain look good, we’ll think they’ll weather anything… and on that pun we will let go and let shutter candy begin!See Some More Post a comment (3)
It’s the second round of this knockout wedding and we hope that you are ready for a feast for the eyes. We are back to Emma and Josh’s Three Day Wedding Extravaganza – go have a look-see at part one, and then it’s cuppa + cake time to view the rest of the visual goodies from our pixel crush OKR Foto and we have the rest of the wedding skinny:
The three day celebration was truly unique including a welcome bonfire, Emma’s stunning coral pink, Grecian wedding dress, and a handmade cake decorated with edible flowers foraged from the surrounding land and camp garden.
Emma celebrated her Chinese heritage using the double happiness symbol as the welcome banner into the Labyrith space in which she and Josh said their vows. Their rings were made by Emma’s father using repurposed metals. A truly green, modern eco friendly DIY wedding!
Time for you to get lost (only visually though not literally we love you!) and let shutter candy begin!See Some More Post a comment (3)
Two hearts in two parts – yep like a diabetic rationing tiny slivers of their special chocolate you can get some of the good stuff today and the rest will be here on the morrow to give you cavities and heart flips.
So the lovely couple whose wedding you are cordially invited to by the magic of the internets is that of Emma and Josh. This wedding was an amazing three part extravaganza and we have a few deets from OKR Foto:
Emma and Josh rented out Circle Pines Center in Delton, Michigan for their wedding weekend. Being a community organizer and school teacher respectively, Emma and Josh were drawn to CPC’s mission: The mission of Circle Pines is to teach peace, social justice, environmental stewardship and cooperation.
This spirit of cooperation was seen throughout the wedding: friends and family members cooked meals, cleaned up, set up and created DIY decorations — including the brides bouquet which came directly from CPC’s garden using materials found directly at the summer camp.
Time for shutter candy 1.0 to begin!See Some More Post a comment (4)
