Well, you know me and the way I roll I am one part hip hop lover, one part graphic designer, two parts  cheeky minx, but now I can add florist to my skill set (I’m better than a ninja) and that is all thanks William Clarke Flowers.

Along with my bloggistas who were Louise (B.loved Weddings), Gaby (Southbound Bride), Meryl (Homegrown Bride), Michelle (The Bridal Coach), (and Nicola of Propose PR who got all of us together)  We got our floral arrangement on like Donkey Kong. We spent a gorgeous afternoon William, the other part of the amazing floral tag team was Brian and Deborah from Wedding Day Hire, who works alongside William Clarke Flowers.

I spent a rather delightful afternoon, as you do, sipping bucks fizz and Champagne, eating tasty morsels and making a bouquet that was all kind s of wonderful.  The great thing about this is it wasn’t just a bloggers jolly.  This is the perfect hen night alternative, so if you don’t want to do the oiled up dude, tiara, sash and Zamboucca thing; then this is a lovely way to get together with your bridal crew and reward them with the opportunity to learn a skill and create something beautiful.

Starting from now (now, being September) you can join the guys at William Clarke Flowers for either a 10 week course, or you can do what we lovely bloggers did and go for a three hour session as an alternative hen party.

I learned a WHOLE lot from this experiene, and the great thing about it all is that – not only was it a lovely way to spend the afternoon, it the perfect way to chill out, have a chat.   Which is a gorgeous alternative to shouting hoarsely into your friends ear while competing with the booming soundtrack of a nightclub.

Don’t get me wrong, I am a tail feather shaker; however every morning that my little nose was greeted  with the scent of beautiful blooms and aroma of Eucalyptus, my mind was flooded with memories of a wonderful (and educational) afternoon.  So, my suggestion is get thee to William Clarke Flowers; I loved it!
