Hello Lovers!
It is time for one of our favourite portions of the week – mix tape time! And on Freedom day Friday the rump shaking music comes to you courtesy of Litte Miss Wedding, a delightful yummy mumm: who has a wonderful Blighty based blog full of all things wedtastic (and she is a jolly good egg!). Lionel Richie – Dancing on the Ceiling
this was our first dance, – I could dance all night long to this. Lionel Richie ”All night Long’ is the classic first dance and because my brother had had it we wanted something slightly different so chose this one, which suited us down to the ground as we both LOVE dancing…. I wanted to have about five different first dances but my husband said one was enough!

Mark Ronson – God Put a Smile on Your face
We had seen Mark Ronson in concert that summer (at Glastonbury and in Shepherds Bush) and loved him. We had this song for our entrance at dinner – the whole wedding party were standing up and clapping and we danced around the tables to all their clapping… very OTT but you are allowed to be on your own wedding day.

Fleetwood Mac – Everywhere
love this song – some of our good friends that had got married earlier on in the year had this as they were walking up the aisle and as we felt that it was there special song we didn’t want to nab it for our first dance. But our friends who were the band (the Chain – http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Chain/149530778423752?v=info) and were amazing played this as the first song in their set. The dance floor was rocking!

The Similou – All this Love
This was our song. My husband says he seduced me to this song he he! I don’t think that we would have had this at the actual party but it reminds me of him…

Des’ree – Kissing You (the Romeo and Juliet Soundtrack).
We had a gospel choir from a local school where my friend is a teacher. I spent quite a lot of time with them in rehearsals etc in the run up to the wedding so it was really special to here them singing on our wedding day. Whilst we were signing the register they sang ‘Kissing You’ from The Romeo and Juliet soundtrack. This song just makes me think of the scene in Romeo and Juliet where they are staring at each other through the fish tank. I think its so romantic.

Rihanna – Don’t Stop the Music
Rihanna’s album Good Girl Gone Bad was one of the albums that we always used to listen to in the car (around the time we got married). Love Rihanna she is a gorgeous and very talented girl. I think my husband is also slightly in love with her…
