Cake, oh cake you make our heartache – we love you and, in particular we love this from Maggie Austin –this gorgeous floral inspired lushness totally makes our stomach growl like a small tiger (we say a small tiger, as large would be inappropriately loud and we want to retain a bit of our girlhood). Some of you get dodgy porn emails from miscreants, however we are get salubrious cake porn emails and this one comes courtesy of the lovely Rachel.
If you want to make us smile from the inside send us a picture of gorgeous cake, oh and if you want us to be your friend for life then buy us a slice of cake. We need one of those Hobo signs, except ours would be ombre or dip dyed and it would be scribed with calligraphy saying ‘ Will work for Red Velvet’ – to be honest any cake will do.
But, even those working for cakey goodness have gotta have standards, yo! So thanks Rachel, for making our inbox sing the cakey hymn… mmmm….cake time

Our obsession with cheesecake began with the Golden Girls, watching those ladies and their regular late night midnight snacks on this ambrosial food sparked our obsession. So, let them eat cheesecake today! Oh, how we love the stuff! Let’s have a TV Nostalgia moment – the Golden Girls theme tune… yes!

Spiced Poppy Seed Cake annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd Almond Butter Frosting, don’t mind if we do!
