This is an invite worthy of a hybrid of The Edvard Munch Scream and the Home Alone Kid, an alphabetically, non mellow yellow invitation that inspires both pain and wonderment at first, second, third and last glance.
It makes us want to contemplate our career, with a barrel of beer (our little maudlin half rhyme, hope it made you laugh – as we are here crying as ever – so much so that we are considering selling our tears back to Thames Water at a profit).

Harrrr + rumph… thanks Post-Mammal, thanks for making our Tuesday a happy one! Our letter will be M for misery, or maybe M for Murder *strokes chin thoughtfully and resurrect design serial killer blue print*
A cake covered in springtime florals (‘ello daisies); is a beautiful wedding idea designed to coax the sun out (where are you oh golden heat giving orb, we’ll never complain about it only being 23 degrees if only you’d high five our skin, make us perspire, cause train track problems, and cause the ice cream sirens to ring in our ears again).
This beautiful spring like cake is from the wedding of Paige & Ben, as captured by Austin Gros Photography and planned by Cedarwood weddings. See, the whole beautiful shebang in this here blog post. (and there is a bit more to behold on Ruffled).
Kind of helps if we mention that the cake creation is from Patty Cakes
It, two hearts in two parts – as today we are visually regaling you with a pretty pixel ballad from the camera of Studio 29. We have the gorgeous wedding of Tonya and Josh, on the fair digital pages of Beyond Beyond for you this fine afternoon (and by fine we are not referencing the weather which is as cold as Grumpy Cat’s heart).
We mean fine in the sense that these pictures have warmed us up like a fan heater in the dead of May (we are still driving home the point that we are cold)
Tonya and Josh were married earlier in the year in Jamaica (serious location and climate envy) and then they had an all day celebration with their framily* in Milwaukee. So, here we are for the first part of the wedding shutter candy adventure in Historic Third Ward of downtown Milwaukee. Let the first part of pixel appreciation begin.
*framily = friends and family, it’s our new favourite word!
See Some More Post a comment (2)Oh we are revelling in the beauty of it being beautiful blue sky magic going on – and the city is bathed in the gold that Dick Whittington dreamed of. Hello Golden Orb, don’t leave us! So, let’s up the happy with a little journey into wedding fashion land.
The shoes that are setting our little guest hearts on fire this week are these by Vince Camuto – we adore them to the point of near obsession.
Little Dude, in Paul Smith, this is a guest look that it is adorable that we can get down with – Harrison, you can see him at this gorgeous parents wedding on Love My Dress (We really like Harrison’s plus one).
The photographic glory goes to: Juliet Mckee
It’s all about Wings…
No, not the Paul McCartney Wings… nor Maxwell’s Pretty Wings, or even chicken wings. We need to put this song in it still cracks us up!
But, wings for the eyes so that you can stay fly. We love this tutorial from Selina Lundstrum

Do the twist with Afro hair.

In the interest of being matchy – a two tone outfit demands two tone nails, and we’ve got a lovely two tone nail tutorial from Tot Ma
