When we give you DIY to do over the weekend you know that it is only gonna be that of the amazeballs variety. So, when we spied this via The Cottage Home we thought that these would be the perfect thing to make either as a placeholder keepsake… or a brilliantly cheep and cheerful wedding favour.
Whatever your decision – go and see how to make these bad boys on the Cottage Home right now as we believe that this make and do notion is the bomb.com. Deuces you gorgeous people have a wunderbar weekend of wonderment *throws the dubs up and pimp struts into the weekend*

Great idea…off to see how they’re made

Lexi – my craft pimping pleasure – glad that you love this post!!!
I wonder how this would work with photos…? Do you think the coating would ruin a photo?
Hmmmm…. worth and experiment I just worry the chemical soloution my strip the photo unless something other than photo material was used to do this!!!???? If I think of anything ingenious – I’lll let you know!
maybe if you print the photos on lightweight cardstock??
Good thinking Merika!
Tried it with the pictures!!! Totally works!
Brilliant! Glad to see it works with pictures!
I tried it with both card stock, and photo paper. The ones on photo paper had more vibrant colors, and looked glossier. The card stock ones look more antique-ish, but the ink ran a bit. I’d definitely recommend photo paper!!
Glad everyone is liking this DIY!!!
