We like all things Blue, especially the lesser spotted Blue Ivy Carter.  She’s a cutie, although we do feel a bit creepy and nosy rubbernecking at celebrity kids.  But, there is Something Blue of another variety that we love and it would be the rather gorgeous work of Boodi Blu.  The work is unique, quirky, gorgeous and distinct – which means that we love it!

In a rare lack of ego and verbal play we are going to hand over to the talented maker Sarah and let her elucidate you further on this range, most gorgeous:

My name is Sarah and I’m the owner of Boodi Blu, a hand-crafted jewellery brand. I create bespoke pieces using rescued vintage, antique and modern pieces of china porcelain; most of them blue and white and found buried in the earth or washed up by rivers or the sea.

I feel that by giving these salvaged pieces a new purpose Boodi Blu’s upcycled designs have quite a romantic significance – the end of a journey and the beginning of quite another. Much like the new journey of a marriage.
