Well, ready for some cavity causing visual candy?
Of course you are! We have no idea why we continue to ask that question. We are you pixel pushers after all.
Well, we are off to Hawaii for the gorgeous beach wedding of Stefanie & Dave and the lens duties are courtesy of the very talented Chris Simons, we have absolute, complete and total location envy (can you tell that we need a trip… to Hawaii!!).
We are completely crushing on Stefanie’s dress from Theia and you’ve gotta love a groom in pale blue (yes you dave). We are all over this pastel wedding palette.
So, the beautiful wedding scene is set and we want you to drool, tear up some A4 and make confetti at your desk and let the shutter candy good times roll!See Some More Post a comment (2)
Well, we promised you more and that is exactly what you are going to get we showed you part 1.0 of the gorgeous wedding of Ali and Neil yesterday, and we have soooooo much more to show you and to share more of their wedding story as told visually and literally by Jacob & Pauline; in fact we will hand you over to them right now:
The day was planning to be a stormy one, but with Ali and Neil that didn’t matter at all. They radiated happiness, and we’re so thrilled with these photos even with the weather looming.
Ali and Neil chose the gorgeous South Lodge Hotel, a 19th Century country house in the heart of Horsham, Sussex. Set within acres of stunning English countryside, the wedding venue suited the couples’ personalities to a tee.
Ali chose a gorgeous vintage-inspired lace Caroline Castigliano dress with pearl accessories and a lace veil, with Sharon from Flowerbug Designs creating a peach rose and thistle bouquet to perfectly match the quintessential English theme. The groom looked dapper in a blue suit with matching waist coat, with the bridesmaids in nude, floor-length floaty dresses.
Due to the fact the venue was set in acres of land, we found a novel way to get around without wearing anyone out: golf buggy! This meant we could pick out the best spots quickly, without spending hours walking around or being limited to the gardens. The guests were having their own fun though, with lawn games and giant Jenga to keep them occupied.
We chose a stunning tree as a setting and managed to take some gorgeously romantic couple portraits. The clouds added a layer of drama to the shots, and thankfully the rain held off long enough to get everything the couple wanted.
Back inside, the speeches were rounded off by best man bringing over some kind of drink from Istanbul, where the lads had their stag weekend. This had everyone in fits of giggles! The cake, a traditional fruit and iced layer, was hand made by both the bride and groom’s family. For the first dance, a friend was flown in all the way from Holland to sing and play piano. It’s the little touches like that the couple really appreciated, you could tell everyone at their wedding meant the world to them.
We had a fabulous day with Ali and Neil in their Sussex wedding, and we’re thrilled with the photos we took. From the flowers to the cake, from guests to bride and groom, this wedding was all about heart.
Go on you lovely lot – dive into this shutter candy!See Some More Post a comment (3)
Well it is wedding time and we have a bit of get ready magic in part 1.0 of this wedding! The lens duties have been performed by the incredible Jacob & Pauline, and the gorgeous couple who we would like you to affix your gazes to are the lovely and in love Ali & Neil.
Our favourite part of the process is the get ready just before the alchemy from singular to coupled, and there is something magical about seeing people in wedding wear. Suited and booted, bustling dresses, the tension and joy! *sigh*
So let’s get started with part 1.0 and un-two tomorrow!See Some More Post a comment (3)
